This is the ultimate in steak knives! The incredible detail and beauty of the inlay handles would enhance any
table. 440C Polished stainless steel full tang blade. Hand chased spine and Laguiole Bee. Polished stainless
steel bolsters. But it is the striking inlay handles that set this steak knife set apart. Gabonese Ebony wood,
Orange Stamina wood, Negundo Burl and Thuya Burl are delicately integrated into an elegant design. Solid
brass pins. The delta shape handle widens to 7/8 inches. Herve Line-Golz studied applied arts at the Ecole
Boule in Paris which is the leading French school for inlay work. After training under Henri Vialon who was
awarded Best French Craftsman, Herve began creating these beautiful inlay knives. He is a member of the
Ateliers d'Art de France and has become known for the solid wood inlay and original shapes of his handles.
Using French forged stainless steel, he hand fits each handle combining exotic woods. A true artisan and
craftsman, each of his pieces is original and completely hand crafted. Decorative shapes are cut into the
wood and filled with inlays.
